🏞️ Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar – The City of Lakes

Arrive in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir. Check into your hotel or houseboat on the famous Dal Lake. Enjoy a relaxing Shikara Ride on Dal Lake in the evening as you witness a magical sunset with views of floating gardens and houseboats. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

🌄 Day 2: Gulmarg Excursion – The Meadow of Flowers

After breakfast, head to Gulmarg, one of the most scenic hill stations in the world. Enjoy panoramic views and adventure activities like:

Ride the Gulmarg Gondola (Asia’s highest cable car)
Horse riding & snow activities (seasonal)
Walks across lush green meadows or snowfields

Return to Srinagar by evening. Overnight stay.

🌿 Day 3: Sonmarg – Gateway to the Glaciers

After breakfast, travel to Sonmarg, also known as the ‘Meadow of Gold’. Surrounded by snowy peaks and alpine trees, it’s a perfect spot for photography and short treks. You can also take a pony ride to the Thajiwas Glacier (optional). Return to Srinagar for the night.

Proceed to Pahalgam, a picturesque valley along the Lidder River. On the way, stop at the Awantipora Ruins and saffron fields. In Pahalgam, explore:

Betaab Valley
Aru Valley
Chandanwari (starting point of Amarnath Yatra)
Enjoy a pony ride or riverside picnic. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

🕌 Day 5: Back to Srinagar + Local Sightseeing

Return to Srinagar and visit:

Mughal Gardens: Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi
Shankaracharya Temple with a panoramic view of Srinagar
Local markets for Kashmiri handicrafts, dry fruits, and woolens
Spend another peaceful night in a deluxe hotel or traditional houseboat.
